I'd disagree.  The 3DS and Vita both have good games, but the Vita has more games that are good.  The problem with the Vita is that it shares most of the games with the PS3.  Opinion only, but if you were to compare like titles between 3DS and Vita, the Vita games have been much better quality whether it's graphics or gameplay.

Purely subjective and most gamers would disagree with that assessment.

Well, for some more objective data...

Looking at retail games only the Vita has 16 games to score above an 80% average critic score.  Of the 16, 5 are exclusive to the Vita. 1 scored above 90% (Persona 4) and is not exclusive.  The 3DS has 22 games to score 80% or above.  Of those, 12 are exclusive to the 3DS.  One game (Re: Revelations) was a timed exclusive for 3DS.  3 games scored above a 90%.  Two of them (Fire Emblem Awakening, Super Mario 3D Land) were exclusives, and one (Ocarina of Time 3D) was non-exclusive.

Some people are going to be all like "blah blah media is biased blah blah".  To those people, I say if you have a better objective source of information, let me know :)

) while the Vita has three retail games that score 80.

Like I confirmed in my second post.  Yes, I think most people are sheep.  Gives yet another reason to why Nintendo games are so prominent.

"Journalist reviews are still subjective.  You don't think journalists have bias?  Sometimes there's more to sway them than just their opinion."

Like I said, show me a better unbiased source.  Individual reviewers might be be biased but the biases should cancel out unless you have a reason there is a pro Nintendo bias.

"I'll also point out that your scores are cherry picked.  You remove digital games and instead of 80 and above, you state above 80.  Why is that.  Not hard to figure out."

No retail games scored exactly an 80 so that had no impact.  As for why I didnt include digital games, there are several reasons.  First and foremost, retail games are what I believe people buy systems for mainly.  Secondly, there are a ton of digital games with one or two reviews that I don' feel like sifting through.  Third of all, I have no idea which of these obscure games have iPhone or Droid versions or whatever.  If you don't like the data, feel free to stop being lazy and do it yourself.

"Far less digital games on the 3DS, two instead of six, and the 3DS has only one game that scores 80(a digital game,"

Hahaha... You're joking, right?  There are two digital games on the 3DS?  Colors 3D, Pushmo, Crashmo, Art of Balance Touch, Cave Story, Gunman Clive, Mutant Mudds, VVVVVVV, Escape Vektor, Kokuga.  So, 2 games above 90, one exclusive.  (Gamerankings btw).  Four exclusives above 80 by my count and 10 overall.  On the Vita (only counting games with 5+ reviews as I did with the 3DS) there are 15.  I don't know how many of those are exclusive.  I know Guacamelee is, but nothing beyond that.

"  Digital included that scored 80 and above is 25 on the Vita, 26 on the 3DS.  The 3DS still wins, but it's not cherry picking for the advantage of one over the other."

That's absolutely wrong.  22 for the 3DS plus 10 equals 32.  I'm not sure if your Vita data checks out, or how you're obtaining it. Besides, I don't think Guacamelee should have the same weigth as something like fire emblem awakening, and something like Gunman Clive that is available on everything under the sun shouldn't have the weight of Gravity Rush.

" One thing I can point out though is thatwith the Vita having far less games, the ratio of 80 and above games is far better on the Vita than the 3DS. "

And this matters... why?  Seriously, does the existence of Rabbids Rumble somehow make Kid Icarus Uprising less enjoyable?  Averages don't matter unless you're forced to buy the entire library of a console.

"Resident Evil Revelations though.  After a year of mostly garbage on the 3DS, this is one of the first high profile games on the 3DS.  It also had the benefit of being released after Resident Evil 6, because even though it's a crappy game, it's still better by a long shot.  It was ported to the HD consoles recently.  How did that fare?  Pretty big coincidence that the HD consoles user score averages out to 7.4 with far more votes than the 3DS user score."

It's not a coincidence at all.  First off, the game had framerate issues across all three versions on HD consoles.  Secondly, the game was a year older and less fresh.  Third of all, they blew up a standard definition game to HD proportions.  Fourth of all, the game was divided into 15 minute or so levels that were really designed for a portable.

"There's also Nintendo first party games that score high just because they're Nintendo.  Sure it pushes hard towards opinion, but I made a post comparing a list of games against a lot of the recent Nintendo software that's been better, only to score lower.  Again it's just an opinion that proves nothing unless the people have played the games, but even then, most Nintendo fans probably wouldn't agree with it regardless of how piqued their interest is with these games.  They won't agree that 2D Mario games, etc, have been garbage for the past decade.  The only possible way to prove it as a fact is to some find prodigal gamers who haven't touched a game yet can instantly adapt to gamelpay like most gamers can, so they wouldnt' have any bias, then have them play through each game and give their unbiased opinion."

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh... so basically what you're saying is that your opinion is right and anyone who disagrees with you and enjoys 2D Mario games is wrong?  That by the way is pretty much the opposite of subjective.

What is not subjective is that the 3DS has a better library of games.  We could try this out again in a year when it will be more of a blowout :)
