For some reason, you have a serious issue with me huh? When have I ever declared that I wish for the PS3 to fail? Unlike many Sony Fanboys, who would gladly see the death of the Xbox 360, I wish for all three consoles to compete strongly so that when I own ALL THREE they will each continue to receive competitive exclusives.
The inclusion of DualShock 3 with the console (which Sony said wouldn't happen just two months ago) brings me one step closer to the purchase of a PS3 (Assuming the same occurs in Australia). All they need to do now is add BC and release some compelling exclusive content.
When these things happen, I will purchase a PS3. I think Sony's plummet from console top-dog to also-ran is good as it will show console makers they can't get cocky in the future, and must base their claim to sales on content and appropriate pricing. Even once I have all three consoles, I will still hope for the PS3 and 360 to end up with similar sales with the Wii not to far in front, in order to preserve competition and ensure no company has the arrogant air going into the next generation that Sony had coming into this one.
