As at 29 June VGC had 360 sold through ~77.8 million so that means <500K in the retail system, or ~5 weeks of stock at current level of sales. They're going to have to ship a lot more over the coming weeks because even with Xb one launch 360's going to sell a lot of units over the holidays. |
It's not lazy, it's an estimate. Given Sony stopped giving exact PS3 figures over a year ago it's pretty hard to pin point it. Last figure we got was 70mill last November.
Anyway, 78.2m is great, should hit 79.5m+ by end of September Q.
