I don't think you're giving the 360 enough credit. However, I don't think you're off by as much as some people believe. As my signature shows, I'm right with you on PS3 sales, but my 360 sales prediction is a bit higher.
The PS3 will overtake the 360 by July of '09.
My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):
Wii : 50 million
360: 28 million
PS3: 24 million
