If we get decent grades in that, we can go on to A-levels but may go to college (something completely different here) or just go to work (like there is any!). I choose to do A-levels where we pick 3 or 4 subjects to do for 2 years (i did politics, history and geography). I finished in June with the final exams (exams were modular over the 2 years). If i do well in that i get to go to my first choice University (what you call college), otherwise i go to my second choice. I just wish university wasn't so expensive here (£9,000 per year) But yeah, At a-level history i did the Suffragettes (worst topic ever!), Late Tudor and Early Stuart England, Revolutionary Russia and Revolutionary France. Also, good luck in your final year at school. |
sounds totally different indeed. Normally I graduated high school this year, but I had to do a year over few years back. I wish I could do history at an early year. But I've looked for it and there is just no highschool that focusses on history/ geography. So I'll have to bear through it. Now I do physical education and sport. I can become a physiotherapist and other related stuff with it. But that's not what i want.
And thanks ;) you too
