Lets See I really liked:
Quest for Glory1-3, Eye of The Beholder 1&2, Stonekeep, M&M Clouds of Xeen, Ultima Underworld, Bauldars Gate 1&2 + expansions,Planescape Torment, Betrayal at Krondor, Fallout 1&2, Icewind Dale, FFVII, Neverwinter Nights 1&2+ expansions, The Witcher, Mass Effect, Lost Oddesy
I also enjoyed to a lesser extent: Diablo 1&2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Dungen Siege
For me the games in bold had the strongest most compelling naratives. I typically prefer western RPG's
