I completely disagree with theprof00 and sighing people.... but try to explain to a deaf how sound is important....

selecting settings, profile and side, in a home hosted tourney is pain in the arse.... what Kinect is doing has never been done before and improves on something that exist, I agree, but blows the current state of things out of the water.... I have done several Halo nights at my house back in the days with over 30 players and 4 TVs.... having a Kinect then would have been god send.... you don't see it that way, too bad for you.... it doesn't make you right.... selecting profiles, settings and side is a pure pain in the ass which I'm happy will be gone.... and many players that do nights like those will definitely agree or have serious logic issues.....

heck not even profile just pairing the pad with the right side of the screen for games like fighters, 4 ways split screen FPS.... is a huge freaking improvement.....

that requires the developers to program that function in. Kinect doesn't do anything that the game isn't programmed to do.
Furthermore, I don't see how selecting profiles is difficult on your tourny. You press the home button and sign in. Really not that hard.
If you're talking about you using 4 360s..guess what? You're still going to have to program all those profiles in because this kinect profile selection is for a home console, not a network. This is the same you would have gone through before.

Program each profile onto each system.

The only difference here is how you select the profile. Seriously. I don't know why you're creating these scenarios in which kinect is doing something the article didn't say it could do.
