the most awesome part of your whole arguement is where you use the games from two of the biggest detractors of MS's indie policy as some sort of evidence that MS is doing good with indie's.   i would take that as a worrisome sign personally.

That's a good point. The developers of some of the most marquee indie titles on the Xbox; FEZ, Braid, and Super Meat Boy have all become their biggest detractors.
