Calling for the termination of a large team of people because of the decisions of likely only a few people is going too far. I'm more than certain that there were plenty of people on the team who argued against whatever policies Microsoft ended up receiving backlash for. I'm sure there are legitimate complaints that can be aimed at Microsoft by people who have dealt with them directly, or any company for that matter, but this guy was either just exaggerating for shock value or he's more upset than he should be.
