I'm leaning towards Earthbound for it's originality and creativity. Also for your videogame dad calling you and telling you to take a break if you play too long.
FF6 and Chrono Trigger are close as well. They're both great... and somewhat creative... but Earthbound was just full of humor and just all around original in style.
