No-one's suggesting that diminishing returns will make PS4/One games equal to Wii U games visibly, just that the difference will be less severe than on PS360/Wii multiplats.

Or to put it in other words: The gap between WiiU and PS4 will be smaller than between PS360 and Wii

More to the point that the *numerical* gap between them will be less relevant. Diminishing returns will mean its harder to notice the difference (the numerical gap being smaller as well)
