Honestly, I don't think anything can save the vita. It has the games, it has a great price, the psp was very successful, yet it's not doing so well. It might be the perception of the vita, but at this point, I really just don't know.

I'm not sure it needs saving.  People said the same thing about the PS3 at this point in its lifecycle.

Ya but the PS3 didn't have even close to the amount of quality software that the vita currently has, also the vita currently has a really great price while the ps3 was still way over priced.

this with the PS3 was it was never over priced. it was always just expensive.

I think that's more of an opinion based on what you viewed the ps3 as, if you viewed it as a gaming machine it was definitely overpriced(200 bucks more than the 360 with less games, that played worse on the ps3, and the online capabilities were no where near as great as live), but if you added in the bluray, then ya, it was just expensive.  But at that time, not everyone had HD tv's so during that time I would say it was overpriced for most, but with people who could actually use the bluray then sure, it was just expensive.

your post is the compleate oposit of the truth lol

as a gaming machine it was Expensive (not overpriced as what was in it was almost £1000 worth. £429 was expensive for a games machine)

As  gaming/blu ray player in 2006 it was cheap. (a blu-ray drive alone cost Sony $350 and cost the consumer £899)

at no point was the PS3 overpriced as no matter what you got it for it was worth alot more. it was just always expenive.
