The reason I bought PlayStation magazines during the PS1 era was about 80% because I wanted the demo disk with the Net Yaroze games on (the remaining 20% being actually wanting to read the magazine.
Some really great games. I still have the demo disks and go back to them from time to time. Some of my favourite games included:
- Terra Incognita
- Between the Eyes
- Blitter Boy
- Haunted Maze
- Time Slip
And one I can't remember the name of but it was a two player game where you were penguins and you had to throw snowballs at each other.
In fact, this disk:
Was the holy grail of Yaroze, despite the misleading cover. Had a collection of like 20 different games on it; spent hours of my life playing that.
There's probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, but yeah, good times :)
