I still a bit perplexed that a lot people have this certain view point that casual gamers wouldn't buy a Mario Tennis/Golf Simply because they would be satisfied Wii Sports? If casual gamers are so like that why did the 2nd DS Brain age games sell 15 million copies? That is probably one of the most casual aimed software around and is only a minor update on the original.
While there are no guarantee that a Mario Tennis/Golf released in Wii era would reach the 10+ million sales each that I suggested. It still seem like a win-win situation regardless to release either game. As either you would get both games becoming solid 2 million sellers or you could have potentially massive seller on your hands. Nintendo had nothing to lose to release either game.
