LOL, you amaze me.

In that case, you just obliterated your own post "Why can't people just say well done". Because apparently, when people said "Not surprising", that means people actually are "complimenting" the Xbox One. So they are saying, "well done". Apparently they mean this is expected because Microsoft makes a great product..

...per your logic.

You lose Kowen. I suggest you abandon this thread forever to avoid any further shame. And in the future, know that you should word your posts more carefully. Because I'll be lurking in the shadows, watching... waiting for your to slip up. And when you do...I will pounce.

To be fair you are putting words in his mouth.  He never said anything about people saying "surprising".  He said things about "yeah but".  They are different words and phrases.

@OT - It really isn't surprising and I believe MrStickBall said it best.  In 2005 pre-orders was not nearly as popular as they are today.  This is partially because the Internet is a lot more popular in 2013 than it was in 2005.  Now you can pre-order anytime anywhere and you have news everyday about consoles.

It has also been pointed out that pre-orders does not equal all time sold.  PS3 and WiiU both had record breaking numbers back then but then struggled after the holiday and launch window period.

While this is great news people really should not be arguing about it from either side.
