The Vita version certainly chugs, but I think you were more insulted by it than most (and I'm frequently accused of being a frame rate whore). I actually really enjoyed playing through Jak and Daxter 1 (not tried the others yet) to call it unplayable is a gross exaggeration, there were people in this very thread who platinumed it in a day clearly showing it is perfectly playable. Though the lower frame rate definitely makes some sections more difficult than they should be (and than I think Naughty Dog intended them to be) it's certainly above 8fps. It actually runs about 20+fps and is a better frame rate than Grand Theft Auto 3 had on release.

I didn't actually notice the audio issue either that could well be something on the US card thats not present on the EU one though. I certainly think Vita Lounge's 9/10 was far too high, but I think 6-7/10 is somewhere near for the Vita port IMO.

At the end of the day, for your £20, you get some fantastic platformers and when you compare them to other portable platform games, you suddenly find you have some of the better 3D platform games available.

Mike's real 1-10 no whiney ranting scaled rating of truth - 6.5/10

I platinumed it too, so it's technically playable, but I said it's borderline unplayable.  it was a royal pain in the ass at every turn.  I want to go through and get all the tropies in 2 and 3 as well, but I certainly won't be doing it on Vita.

Also, who are you or anyone else to tell me what I did or did not experience?  this was very clearly sub 20FPS in certain spots, and I was constantly plagued by glitches, audio problems, and all sorts of performance issues. Seriously, not a good port at all.

Is a review about Jak & Daxter collection and You haven't played J&D2 and 3?... bad boy runa! I have read that the second and third game doesn't those issues on framerate, and despite aren't that bad as Vita's is said to have it, PS3 version of the first game have some framerate issues too.. I played it too... so buying PS3's version doesn't solve anything.. I think that's something about the graphic's engine and not the consoles...

I finally have nothing to play on my vita till Dragon's Crown/Rayman Legends come out, so I bought Ys Origin off steam(only Ys that i haven't played) and i just love this game. Falcom should definitly port this game to vita.

So, Capcom supporting vita, lol. Like announcing a vita dragon's dogma 2d RPG and it turns out to be a card game that get released on IOS. Yeah, No i call bullshit. I refuse to hype mylself for any leaks. i just want my Gravity Daze 2 :_:

@Namco tweet: there is also Super Heroine chronicles, Project versus and Super Robots spin off from Namco Lol and GE2 and DBZ game.

And Gundam breaker too.. don't forget the goddamn Gundam Breaker!

And I have to say, SEGA, Namco and Tecmo-Koei are the third aprties that most support (in japan) give to Vita... so I think that we should ignore that twitt, is obviously a personal opinion from someone that access and manage the NBEU twitter account...
