  • Over half of households (56 percent) own at least one current generation gaming console as of January 2012, up from 50 percent last year

Can't take too much from this, but it's at least something.

High end - of the 56% who play on a console, roughly 43% also play on PC.

Low end -  11% (Used 6% since that is all 3 types of devices)

Realistically, it's probably around 25-30% based on this data.

But it shows that 24% game on at least 2 types of devices but that also includes movile divices as well.  Wouldnt that number be closer to 10-15% considering that of that 24% its probably split pretty even amongst people who play on a PC/Console combo, PC/Mobile combo and Console/Mobile combo when you consider the number of mobile devices out there.

10-15% of 56% is 18-27%. I'm okay with that assessment.

So for arguements sake and easy math we will say 25%.

So should we be creating a list of games that would be beneficial for 1 out of every 4 people?

Or creating a list of games that would be beneficial for 3 out of every 4 people?
