KillzoneSF and to a lesser extent InfamousSS look at least a little better than the best of current gen. MK8, B2 and X look next gen, but I don't think you can call games coming more than a year after launch to be launch titles. |
To make this a 2 hourse race, I think people should list what ever Wii U games looks 'next gen' irrespective of the period (given the tecnhnological disparity between the HD twins and the Wii U). In that case X definitely impresses. I have not seen much of MK8 though.

In that case I would say MK8 looks next-gen. It's no Division or Witcher 3 by any stretch, but for me it's the best looking game to date in the "Pixar" style, the kid-friendly toon asthetic. It's polsihed and shiny and fast with great lighting and frame rate, and what a next-gen Mario title should look like. Much moreso than say 3DWorld, which looks fine but modest in visuals.
The titles on PS360 are so good-looking already it's hard to stand out from them in a dramatic way. But we are seeing some that look better.
