Your post is so full of bias and ignorance....
So it is your supposition that GZ set out to murder himself "...some innocent kid in a hoodie"? Why did he even bother to call the police then?
Just because you carry a gun does not mean you intend on using the gun. Many people carry guns and never use them or even pull them out. This includes law inforcement and members of the military. Getting into a physical confrontation and having your head punched into a sidewalk (witness saw TM on top of GZ) would certainly suggest that TM never even knew GZ had a gun (showing he never pulled it out before the altercation) which goes to show why TM did not run home or even leave the area completely or call the police himself and why GZ felt as though his own life was in jeopardy (what if after beating GZ TM had found the gun?)
This isn't all to say GZ is innocent or that he didn't assault TM first and then lost the upper hand only to shoot TM. That could have happened. The problem is we DON"T know!!! And if we started convicting people based on conflicting stories as opposed to the evidence and presumption of innocence before guilt then our Justice System IS truly fucked.
