I just didn't like the multiplayer they added in Brotherhood and beyond, i though it was boring and frustrating and so a waste of time. To me, Assassin's Creed is better as a singleplayer game but by adding multiplayer, they are wasting time and money to me. They could of used that effort to make a better story in singleplayer and ensured the bugs were fixed. So yes, Assassin's Creed II would of not been so good if it had multiplayer, as it was an unnecessary add on that didn't really fit with the series. I didn't even bother with multiplayer in Assassin's Creed III because i hated it in the previous 2 games. For certain games, multiplayer works really well but in Assassin's Creed it felt so unnecessary and tacky.
