#1 of 2013?
As of now, one of the following games will likely be the Top seller of 2013. Which will it be? (One system to keep it fair)
- The Last Of Us
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- Pokemon X / Y
- Call Of Duty: Ghosts
- Gran Turismo 6
Things to consider: TLOU is a new IP on a system being replaced soon. AC was released in its biggest market last year so sales will be divided. Grand Theft Auto isn't as big as it used to be and 4 was outsold by other games in its year. Pokemon will be released to a smaller userbase when compared to some of the other big games. Ghosts will be separated into 4 different systems instead of only 2. This might hurt the sales of the XB 360 version a bit. Gran Turismo normally has longevity rather than being front-loaded.
My vote goes to Pokemon with COD being a close 2nd and GTA being a distant 3rd. Pokemon X / Y will likely have a ton of hype and will be the 1st game released WW at the same time. It will also be released close to the Holidays and have a head-start against Ghosts. Ghosts will also get some sales fom the other versions such as the XB1.
