Not quite following you.   Do you mean flat taxes, ones graduated by income and resource use or something else?

I do like how, I think it's Sweeden, adjust your car ticket prices by income.  So a person with low income might have a $20 ticket, and a person who makes 20 million a year, might have a $400,000 one.


I believe what he is referring to is that unlike most countries their is no equal protection principle in regards to taxes.

 

So that if I make $40,000 and you make $40,000 we could pay totally different tax rates before any deductables are factored in because we do different jobs... or even have different races! (Though no such law regarding race exists to my knowledge.)

 

It is funny though how much people focus on income tax when there is so many other factors.
