Shouldn't we give reparations to Native Americans?

I watched a video the other day of "kids react to some cheerios commercial"  Apparantly there was a controversy about the commercial due to it being a mixed family, I didn't know there was a controversy over it until they brought it up to the kids.  All the kids were surprised and thought it stupid.

Why is there even a term "mixed family"  And why are we teaching our kids about it?  If we didn't tell them its a "mixed" family, they woud just see and call it a "family"

Our need for Politically correctness I believe is making us more racists, intollerant, bigots, ect. 

Political correctness isn't creating more racists, its making people more aware of their words, but at the same time its sweeping the first dirty thought under the rug. As Morgan Freeman said, if you don't want racism, don't talk about it.

Well what I meant was kind of what Morgan Freeman said.  When there is a distinction or name calling involved its obviously better to call someone for example an "african american" instead of  the many other crude names one could call said person.

But what i meant was that we are coming up with so many different terms and names for each person that what before was just one group of people is now 10 different groups of people.  That one group before got along all great and peachy, but now that they found out they are "different" they now don't for some reason mesh.  

So it's back to Morgan Freeman but more broader.  It's not just racism, but basically anything.  If you don't want racism dont' talk about it, if you dont' want religish trouble, don't talk about it, if you dont' want weath discrimination don't alk about it, ect.  

I like to just say "i'm an American", but the government wants me to say "I'm a middle class, white, heterosexual, christian, with a college degree, from Florida, ect"   The first example, the only people that hate me are those that hate americans.  The second example, someone could dislike me for making too much or too little money, for being of some color, for my religion, for my education, for my sexual preference, ect.  The more labels we attribute the more oppertunities for hate.
