You're acting like this incident started when Martin and Zimmerman started punching each other started punching Zimmerman. It didn't. Zimmerman followed Martin in his car, called 911 who told him to stay in his car asked if he was following Martin, ignored that advice said okay and have the cops call me when they get here so I can tell them where I am at, brought his gun out of his car, and confronted Martin. If Zimmerman hadn't followed Martin, or had stayed in his car, or had left his gun in the car, or hadn't directly confronted Martin, this wouldn't have happened.

Why would he stay on the line with 911 if he wanted to confront Martin, or even call them in the first place? I'm guessing that if you're setting out to do something illegal, you wouldn't call 911 to have the whole ordeal recorded for police, LOL! That makes no sense. His entire conversation was about TRACKING a 'suspicious person' until the police arrived. There was never any indication in that entire conversation that he intended to 'confront' anybody! Look at the facts, jack!

Are you saying that Zimmerman stayed on the line with the police even after he got out of the car? I don't think that's true.

So I ask again, why do you think Zimmerman got out of his car? I think that he did it in order to confront Martin. (And, to clarify, by "confront," I don't mean "shoot" or "fight.")
