Every Wii U game has launched unprecedentedly badly. Pikmin is not the game to change that.

Pikmin 3 is the biggest release since lauch by extremely far.

1. The launch games, specifically a 2D Mario of good quality, also did lower than anyone would have guessed.

2. Pikmin is niche as hell no matter how much Nintendo hypes it up.

Pikmin isn't niche and has some sales potential. The franchise is worth 500k in Japan as proved by the two GC episodes. It will beat 100k.
