Exactly. It'd be silly to think that motion controls were going to completely replace standard controllers; it's just not practical. They have their place where they are superior (bowling, golf, dance games, etc) but most of us could see that, like touch controls, they were simply going to exist side by side with standard controllers, which they will.
OT: Probably the worst prediction I've made that I can think of pertains to the WiiU; I predicted it would have an install base of 18m by the end of this year... we'll be lucky if it has half of that.
