1) Free to play games are nice but nothing to get excited about (in my opinion). They're fun to play for a while but get rather boring once you have to constantly purchase in game items. I'd rather just pay once and have access to the full game.

2)How much will that cost you? If it's 60$ or under for ALL content in the game then I'll admit I was wrong on this one.

3) Why would I crap on a game that is being made by it's original developer?

"Willette says players will be able to purchase and download the game in three ways. First, they can download the base — which includes Jago, online play, a training mode and the basics — for free, then choose to purchase other characters and features piecemeal. Second, they can purchase the equivalent of a season pass and pay up-front to get all the characters and content for the game as they are released. Or third, they can pay for a special edition of the season pass that also includes bonus content."

Also in regards to developers, Double Helix was sending builds of the game to the developers at RARE who had a hand in making the origional Killer Instinct for input and ideas, there are only a few of them remaining at RARE however.

Like I said, if the cost for all the content available at launch is under 60$ (like a normal game launching at retail) then I'll admit I was wrong.
