20 weeks is great (personally I would set it in the first trimester only), In AUS it ranges from 22weeks to 27weeks, which I think is a joke as the child has a heart beat.

There are so many couple here who can't have kids and want to adopt that is where the unwanted babies should go. Instead they need to adopt them from 3rd world countries because it is almost impossible to adopt locally.

Heartbeats begin around six weeks, brain activity begins around the same point. Lungs are developed far enough to survive outside the womb anywhere from 21 to 26 weeks, typically (though most babies will still need help breathing until about week 35). And there are well-documented occurances of babies born in the 21- to 23-week range that HAVE not only survived birth, but infancy as well.

So, yes. A 20-week ban is an absolute must, and I also would argue that earlier is better.
