How many people do you know who dicover they are gay (or even bisexual) when they're 28? Spiderman is a teenager and could have questioned his sexuality at some point. Of course movies are made mostly for profit and such a move would destroy the franchise. In other words it won't happen from a business point of view, not because of the story. Can't remember the last blockbuster or big budget movie with gay charatcters. It's very frustrating.
