why you guys want it so it's cheap and competitive???/ Ms doesn't need the XB1 to be number one or 2 in sales.... a lucrative third place is way enough to build up something.... look at apple they've been second in the OS market for 2 decades... it didn't prevent them to become a big player and the biggest company out there...
you don't like Kinect and don't want it plugged in for some obscure reason, don't get an XB1 it's that simple... I'm pretty sure they know they'll lose some of their customer that are completely against Kinect... but since their vision is different than those customers... does it really matter....??? some of us want them to take that direction and are really happy they push it.... yeah it might still be gimmicky but it will be one step further in that direction
one day we'll have that minority report feel and MS and it's partner will be pioneer in that field.... I still can't fathom how some people can discard a tech like that when I know for a fact that even its current version is more efficient for some things than the pad... and therefore this one will be even more efficient at it.... I wonder if people received the mouse like that when apple released its first crapy iteration with very little use for it....
Kinect was awesome for a first try at it (yeah it wasn't all we hoped for, but it still was a big step in the field) and Kinect 2 will be more awesome.... now if you don't want to shake your habits and give something new a chance as limited as it is... go with the competition I don't know why people are still trying to change things with MS... since they clearly don't have the same vision anyway....
