Being black myself i'm not that upset. the media loves to stir shit up.

I know, if Zimmerman was a black man or the kid was white or Hispanic this case would have never seen the light of day. Plus the president opining his mouth when it wasn't asked for or warranted didn't help matters.

This is a sad truth.  Hundreds, if not thousands, even younger than Trayvon have died this year alone (and its not even over) in major cities, such as Chicago.  Do we hear those stories? Those victim's names?  Of course not.  Not only because it doesn't further this illusion of most white men as racist, since a lot of the crime is black on black, but it would also make the Dems in charge there look incompetent.  Maybe even like they don't care about fixing the problem.  But, because the media falsely assumed Zimmerman was white, and then later decided to call him a "white" Hispanic to cover up their mistake, it helped push this race divide.

Agreed

This pretty much was the perfect case to ensure and restruct the racial barriers. It only really keeps people from the black community low-key mad at the white community.

People from the white community usually say if it was the other way around, this would have been swept under the rug

and the people from the black community say if it was the other way around, Zimmerman would have been jailed

I swear i hear the same arguments from each side lol
