Isn't that kind of a given?  the only console I ever bought before it had games I cared about was the WiiU.  love the system, but damn it has virtually NOTHING in terms of games worth having.  Looks like Nintendo is going first party only again.  Get a PS4 for the majority of games, enjoy the WiiU for its own quirkiness that you can't avoid.  400 dollar Smash Brothers machine!  (totally worth it.)

But back to my original point: Of course you should wait.  the patient gamer is the smart gamer.  Games are cheaper, there's more variety, and the longer you wait, the more patched up a game becomes.  Now, so many games are glitchy at launch that it's really not smart to get one at launch unless you're reviewing it or something. 

@bolded: the biggest success of the first XBox, bringing to console gaming, thanks to its standard equipped HDD, this typical PC gaming "feature".
