Just a hint... open the MS support to see how much bugs (and a lot without correction) the Windows 7 have... PC user experience is not stable.
It is more stable for power users... common users have even more trouble because needs to pay tech guys to fix easy things.
I can't believe you never saw a error message in your system lol... my uncle format his PC every month just because there are a new error/issue that he can't handle with Windows 7.
