The sheer irony of this assclown looking for asylum in a country with far less freedoms and far more civil rights issues and human rights abuses, is almost staggering. And Putin only wants to offer him asylum publicly to stick it to the US. I'm not "Patriot", per say. I'm not overly attached to the country I live in, or ANY specific country. I'm more of a humanist. But at the same time, I don't view this guy as a hero. Sure, you could argue he did the right thing, had his heart in the right place, etc. etc., but on the other hand, what has he actually accomplished?
And him looking to accept asylum from countries even worse than the US is laughable.
