Update: The PS blog says that the PS3 in the bundle is the same 80gb unit we're used to, i.e. the one with limited backwards compatibility. No surprises there, I guess. It is a little ironic though, that the Metal Gear Solid PS3 won't be able to play Metal Gear Solid 3. Maybe they'll get that straightened out before release for the sake of PR... |
I'm pretty sure that the 80GB PS3 with limited BC can run all of the Metal Gear games from PS1 and PS2 with no major issues.
