If Pokemon X/Y sales don't meet expectations (let's say they sell less than Black and White), I think they should. Although that kind of marketing push is really expensive and more so nowadays, and the franchise is very popular as of right now.
So yeah if X/Y for some reason don't really sell well (which I highly doubt) I think they should take this approach.
