Ahhhh. I see now. This is all a ploy to drive traffic to the site where you wrote the "article". Read your article, in full. Needs work, it's a little high school ish. Also read the comments. You are very uninformed. "Nintendo would never do this and probably Sony wouldn't either". Right, and there we have it. You then admit you didn't even know about the root kit scandal, you admit the delay in revealing the Sony outage was bad but they probably wouldn't do this? Isn't Facebook integration a part of "share" on the PS4? Good luck with that.

I wrote the comment about the Sony outage before the one about the rootkit scandal. My whole...."wouldn't do this" is based on what Microsoft specifically has done, with the whole....willingly providing backdoors around their security that is there to give people a sense of privacy.
There's no need to attack my credibility or my article. It comes off as childish and petty. I never once claimed I was a professional journalist or that "OMG I'M THE BEST WRITER EVER." It's an opinion article....hence the blog-post type feel. It was meant to spur discussion on the topic, nothing more so leave the personal attacks out of it.

Your op should say that you are linking to a blog that you wrote. That you are quoting a blog that you wrote for another website.
by the way, you don't know what a disclaimer is.
Your reaction to my critique is what actually comes off as childish. if you can't take critical evaluation, then don't write public domain articles.

I included the disclaimer I did so people wouldn't think I'm some Sony fanboy who wants Microsoft to fail or some other crap. I was formally refusing to accept any interest in what the outcome of the news has on Microsoft as a company....to play off of the dictionary definition of a disclaimer. My OP said exactly what it needed to...that it is an opinion article concerning Microsoft's involvement in the NSA scandal and their reversal on the DRM issues. Whether you think it is a blog or an opnion article is irrelevant as the line is becoming increasingly blurred.
"Why are we debating a second rate article from an amateur journalist?" is hardly a "critical evaluation" or any sort of critique. Discuss the content, not me or my presentation of it.
