SquareEnix has never lost money on a Final Fantasy (outside XIV but it might be profitable in the end). However, Tomb Raider, Hitman and Sleeping dogs sent them deep in the red. 

FF XV doesnt look to be very profitable since its exclusive to Ps4 and Xbone, which will probably have a really small instalbase for a while, though i dont know when its releasing so that could change. The game looks like it was expensive as hell to make as well.
