Should NINTENDO have trophies?

I don't care for trophies... but I like a game collecting data about gameplay accolates and friends being able to see that and compare to each other.

So I don't want some arbitrary medal for achieving arbitrary goal... I want actual specific data stuff shared. The most important of which is time played.
