how would it be pointless? alot of people most sony fans point and laugh at xb1 for taking 3 gb of the ram for os and daily saying we got 7 you got 5 4>1 well 7>5 as well. that just means it will give sony fans one less thing to belittle xbox fans on. on top of that it it could give a whole 4 gb to the OS and still have a full 8gb strictly for gaming purposes. so thats a little pass being pointless
