Sony knew that we didn't want to camera with the console.

I guess that expalins the Lightbar not being able to turn off and the preinstalled PlayRoom.


Yeah, at lease it's useful though.

The Xbox One wireless controller has three IR LEDs built into the front of the controller so Kinect can identify the controller.  So Kinect not only identifies a person visually, but then knows when they have a controller in hand and which controller it is on the system, and it can also switch the screen position based on which side of the screen that person is on.
