They want Take-Two so that they can be the only force in Sports. I mean, Sony has their own Baseball and Basketball franchises, but they lack the Football license, which does sell the most out of all sports games. EA wants Madden to be the only one in football, and Sony's offerings of MLB and NBA, aren't bad, but they also aren't great. So there's no real competition, and EA could be the only sports games out there (worth playing) for a time to come. Sad really.
