1st gen: never played
2nd gen: I was born 2 years before this gen "ended" but I eventually got an Atari 2600. My favorite game was Pitfall.
3rd gen: Phantasy Star, SEGA Master System. Close 2nd would be Battletoads on NES.
4th gen: Sonic 2, SEGA Genesis.
5th gen: Metal Gear Solid, Playstation.
6th gen: Phantasy Star Online, SEGA Dreamcast. Close 2nd to Skies of Arcadia, also on SEGA Dreamcast.
7th gen: Bioshock, Xbox 360. Close 2nd to CoD4, also Xbox 360.
