less than 1000

http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/call-of-duty-black-ops-2-goes-offline-on-nintendo-wii-u/

It was less than 1000 a week after launch. Dear god, there must be less than 100 people playing now. I wonder if you can even find games properly.

the article says you cant, which explains why we've yet to see a DLC for Wii U version. THere is more to this than how much copies are being sold. If people arent playing the game online, COD we talking here, we are less likely to see support for future installments, even if every version of it comes out, it STILL is the inferior version by virtue of not having access to DLC

That article is garbage.  Many Wii U's purchased at launch were Christmas presents.  The COD Wii U user base didn't hit it's peak until after Christmas.  One week after BLOPS launch there were barely any Wii U's in the wild.  The typical number of BLOPS2 players online now is several thousand, and it is no problem to get a match.  Matchmaking is instant.  It's no 360 scenario mind you, but it is "OK".

got a link, not that i dont believe you. but im not going to take the word of a random stranger

If I'm bored I'll snap a photo for you the next time I'm online.  But in the very least you should appreciate that the article is pointless, being from a week or two after launch when there were only 400k or so Wii U's in the wild, many of which were still in their box for Christmas.
