Honestly IMO Xbox is bad for the gaming industry AND Microsoft.

1) MS consistently holds back innovation by bullying devs into holding back certain things on other platforms to make Xbox look good.

2) MS is still billions of dollars in the RED from the original Xbox while the 360 has just about broke even.  Microsoft needs to refocus their gaming energy into Windows before Mac and Linux become just as viable of a gaming platform.  WIndows is where MS makes money and creates good products, not Xbox.
