At the end of the day, it is all about taste anyway. So this is IMO.
Ryse looks to have great visuals. The gameplay was dumped down for the E3 show, so it remains to be seen how this might turn out at the end. And I love the setting. I hope they keep it that way. Sure it is fictional, but don't include Dragons or giant enemy crabs in this game. Lions / Tigers in the Colosseum are welcom though.
Dead Rising 3 looks very promising. I played DR1 and thought it was a fun game, but it could be so much better. Now it looks like they really improved the concept.
Halo is the best gaming franchise I have ever played. Period.
Quantum Break is made by Remedy (nuff said) and the combination of a TV series and gaming sounds freaking awesome to me.
Titanfall will be THE multiplayer title of the next gen.
I am not a fan of the racing genre, but Forza looks great. I actually want to give it a shot just for drivatar.
So, what has the competition to offer this far?
I dislike Killzone with passion. It has nice visuals, but it is lacking in every other category. Story, Gameplay, controls, level design, multiplayer... For me, Killzone is the perfect example for a generic FPS.
InFamous is meh to me as well. And a 50% collpase of sales for the sequel indicates that I am not alone with that feeling.
Other than that, there are a handful of indie games, I gladly pass.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
