Heres a fact that is largely overlooked:
The 360 launched alot cheaper than the PS3, it launched one year earlier and it had plenty of japanese support at the beggining. And despite all that and despite beeing more expensive the PS3 is now surpassing the 360.
The Xbox1 will have none of those advantages. Sony got arrogant with the PS3 but they had a 2 generation winner brand behind them. The Xbox has a 50/50 winner brand behind them. They got arrogant and they really had no room to do that.
The Xbox1 will be about as big as the original Xbox. We are looking at another PS2 like generation in my opinion.
Unless of course, microsoft gets real desperate and starts taking huge losses on the Xbox1. They need to be cheaper to have a chance against the PS4.
