Honestly, I don't think so. If somehow 100,000 chose to sign it then even then... I'm not saying that we shouldn't try.

The other problem is FF15. You have to ask yourself why thats a mainline installant now? I think its more to do with FF13 Versus having spent 7-8 years in development, making it very difficult to recoup that investment under the FF13 umbrella of games.

I'm also fed up of being patient, its been 6-7 years since FF12. Longer since Dragon Quest 8 featured such a good Dragon Quest single player campaign. But I think we need to rethink our strategy.

FF13-2 sold less than half the copies of FF13, we all know why. Yet FF13-3 is still being made, why? Its nothing to with what quality. Its about finances.

If FF12 HD comes out, I will buy it, but other than sales of FF12 HD being off the charts, I don't see how else Sqaure Enix will get the message.

I should change the amount of signatures required to 100,000.

Actually, I think having milestones is a good thing.

What you want is 1000, when you reach 1000 you say "... we reached our first milestone of 1000 signitures, next step is 10,000". Then after 10,000 so on and so forth.

For this to gain traction I think the next step is a Youtube video, chronicalling our views from FF6 or 7 or whatever to FF13 or FF14 or whatever.

If we can show evidence explaining our views and reasoning them in a video then Youtube could get 1000 views. If its successful it could snowball. If that video petition can go further, to Facebook, to Twitter, to every respected gaming forum on the net then its possible this could go further.

I am considering doing it myself. However a video will take weeks, everything needs proof, and its not as simple as just cuting parts of the games here and there and talking about them, its also about gathering links that back up what were saying.

For example when Square Enix said FF13 was inspired by Call of Duty, that would be a particularly powerful piece of evidence. I do want to do this, but the effot it will take, and in the end Sqaure Enix might never listen.
