Not to be an asshole, but maybe this is for the best? KOTOR2 messed the plot up inrecoverably, and the story pretty much ended anyway. I'd much rather have any developer competent enough to be given a project like KOTOR3 making either new games in the Star Wars world, or preferably whole new IPs like Bioware's Mass Effect.
