That's... absolutely awesome news to hear. I genuinely wasn't expecting this; or I was at least expecting to hear about it after Xillia 1 releases.
The feeling I gathered from Japan, at least various forum responses, was that Xillia 2 is a much better game than the first. So I'm really, really looking forward to it now (and of course Xillia 1 next month).
What an awesome time to be a JRPG fan. I finished Graces F last week; Xillia next month and then Symphonia & Xillia 2 next year.
Kinda off topic, but I'm hoping Atelier Escha & Logy gets announced for western release in 2014 too (plus Fairy Fencer F actually). That would be a kick-ass year!
